Although many sessions are booked through a family doctor or OBGYN, a referral is not required to book an appointment.
Dr. Morgan is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), therefore her services are covered by many extended health care plans. Each session is $160.00 and is 50 minutes in length. The number of sessions necessary varies greatly and depends on the client, as well as the presenting issue(s), however most engage in brief counselling lasting from four to fourteen sessions.
Payment is due at the end of each session and must be paid in cash or cheque. Sorry no Interac at this time. An official - but discreet - receipt with Dr. Morgans registration and membership number will be provided after each session. This receipt may be remitted to an insurance company for reimbursement. To avoid being charged for a missed appointment, twenty-four hours notice is required for appointment cancellation or rescheduling. If less than 24 hours notice is given, half the full fee is charged.
